The school was a farm school situated on Mr Nkula’s farm. The school moved to Van Niekerk’s farm, and a place of land was donated to the school (the place where the school is situated now).

It was officially opened in october 2000, by Edo Mr W Sibali and a member of parliament Mr A Metele, the school was then a presented as a public school, no fee school and quintile 2 school rank which shows the needs of the school and community at large
